AlterTrace privacy policy

1. Controller

The data controller is MJS Bartosz Majewski, Zawadzkiego 40a, 65-528 Zielona Góra, Poland.

2. Data

We process uploaded images and metadata, case identifiers, reports and technical results, payment data made available by Mollie, and basic security logs such as request time, IP address and device information.

No user account is required. Please do not submit personal data that is unnecessary for the analysis.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Case data is processed to perform the contract and deliver the report. Transaction and complaint data is processed to perform the contract, comply with law and establish or defend claims. Security logs are processed for the legitimate interest of protecting the service.

4. Recipients

Data may be processed by Vercel (hosting and file storage), Mollie (payments), and the analysis providers Hive, Sightengine, AI or Not, TruthScan and Reality Defender. Each provider receives only what is needed for its role.

Transfers outside the EEA use safeguards required by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

Case materials and the report are kept for no more than 7 days after upload. Records required for tax, complaints or legal claims are kept for the period required by law. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and diagnostics.

6. Rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the Polish data protection authority or your local supervisory authority.

7. Automation and security

Image analysis is automated, but its informational score does not itself produce legal effects concerning a person. We use time-limited access, private file storage and access-token controls.

8. Cookies

AlterTrace does not use advertising cookies. Infrastructure and payment providers may use technologies necessary for security, payment and session handling under their own policies.
